Campion Marine, Canada's largest independent fibreglass powerboat manufacturer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Doohan Company Limited as the distributor of Campion products in South Korea, effective June 1, 2012.

Campion Marine participated for the first time at this year's Korea International Boat Show (KIBS) during which time Campion's President, Brock Elliott, met with Mr. Park Min Seok to work out details of the agreement.

'We are extremely excited to have Doohan Company Limited as our distributor to enter the Korean market. With strong government support to promote leisure boating, Korea is a prime market for the quality product that Campion represents,' commented Elliott. 'We look forward to hosting Mr. Park Min Seok at our 39th Annual Dealer Celebration which will take place August 26th and 27th in Kelowna.'

Campion Marine would like to thank the National Marine Manufacturers’ Association (NMMA) for the opportunity to participate in the North American Pavilion at KIBS and Mark Adams, Vice President NMMA Sportshows, for his assistance while in Seoul, Korea.

Campion is committed to leading the industry into building the greenest boats by using the best and most ecologically friendly products. Campion is the world's first manufacturer to build all of its boats with Ashland's Envirez® resin, a renewably sourced, bio-derived resin, that uses a substantial amount of soybean oil and corn derived ethanol in its formulation.

Campion Marine has been building high-performance sport boats and cruisers for 38 years. The company, at its facility in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, builds the Allante line of sport boats and cruisers, the Explorer sport utility water craft, Chase high-performance boats, the Svfara wake/surf towboats and Infinyte alternate energy boats. Campion Marine manufactures 55 models of boats ranging from 9 to 30 feet in length and markets and sells their boats through their dealer network in over 30 countries.
