Bull Sails becomes part of Quantum Sail Design Group

by Press Release on 5 May 2003
Bull Sails has decided to join the Quantum Sail Design Group to ensure excellent products and service for its customers.

According to Tony Bull Owner of Bull Sails “We chose to join Quantum to ensure that our clients continue to receive the best product available. Quantum has devoted millions of dollars of research funded by its participation in Grand Prix events and has translated this know-how into superior sail designs for racers and cruisers. They have the most aggressive budget and comprehensive long-term program for sail development in the industry. We want to be a part of that vision.”

Bull Sails has produced championship one design sails in many small boat classes and has documented success in big boat racing and cruising sails. Tony Bull has tasted numerous successes at International, national and state levels in One Design , Sportsboats and trailerable yachts as well as many miles offshore racing.

Tony Bull who has been sailmaking for over twenty-five years and has worked with North, Hood and Sobstad before starting Bull sails says ”
Quantum’s philosophy struck a chord with my own sailmaking beliefs and their strong product development and attitude towards customer service makes them the fastest growing sailmaking chain in the world. They recruit only the best sailmakers and we are flattered to be part of the new force in sailmaking. ”

Dave Eickmeyer of Quantum Melbourne said “We’ve earned a reputation as a young innovative and technologically sophisticated company. It is good to have Bull Sails on board to strengthen our local market and ensure service right through the Victorian area.”

Another key factor in Bull’s decision to join with Quantum is a shared approach to customer relations. “Our customers expect outstanding customer service because selling sails is only part of what we do” explained Tony. “Getting our clients to trust our recommendations comes from knowing our craft and understanding their needs. Proof of product proof of service; that's what Australian sailors can expect from us. Even though Quantum is a rapidly growing organization we liked that they have chosen to focus not on size but on quality in all aspects of the business.”

About QUANTUM - Quantum Sail Design Group founded in 1996 and headquartered in Annapolis MD is the first new international sailmaker in the industry in more than twenty years.
