Windcraft expand - eyachts is born

Team Windcraft are a force to be reckoned with. In 12 short years Windcraft has grown from a start-up company into one of Australia’s largest yacht importers, and now a new motor yacht arm has launched, eyachts.

Passion has been the key to the company's growth and expansion. Windcraft’s MD, Peter Hrones is passionate about great yacht design and regularly scours Europe for the very best boats.

'I have a checklist when I look at a boat. The design has to excite me, the cockpit and interior layout have to be right for the Australian market and the yacht has to be well-engineered with a quality build.
Ultimately though, when I step on board I have to have an immediate heartbeat moment. A moment when my heart races because I know instinctively the boat feels right!'

Peter’s excellent judgment is clearly demonstrated by his success with the Hanse, Moody and Dehler brands.
Hrones is also passionate about customer care. For example Windcraft is home to one of Australia’s only dedicated after sales service centres. Owners can ring a 1300 number 24 hours if they need help or advice with their new yacht.

As part of Windcraft’s commitment to offering Australians the very best boats in Europe the team have established a new arm: eyachts.

eyachts allows Windcraft to expand into motor yachts and premium European brands like Solaris. The new company also has a focused brokerage section. eyachts is embracing advances in modern technology while ensuring all the boats have cutting edge design.

Take Greenline motor yachts. Greenline use unique hybrid technology in their environmentally friendly motor cruisers. Thanks to the meticulously designed hull, the fuel efficiency is amazing. And there’s also an electric motor so you cruise for up to 20 miles at no cost, enjoying the peaceful exploration yachtsmen love. Greenline are also one of the most affordable power yachts in the world.

If you’re after a premium sailing yacht, Solaris are top end racer/cruisers. These yachts are built with quality materials and finished to exacting standards. And of course they look absolutely stunning.

Or for a great day out on the water, the Dinamica day sailer and Dragonfly folding trimaran offer you fast, fun and family friendly ways to get afloat.
