New STEYR MOTORS SE Engines - Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show Bernadette McIntyre
Following on from the success of the Steyr Motors MO engine range, the Austrian manufacturer is releasing a new series of engines.

The SE range of 6 Cylinder Marine Diesel Engines has been developed to meet with the EPA Tier III requirements. Featuring a range of technical improvements, the engines have been manufactured with a sophisticated, modern look in mind.

Major design features include a coolant recovery system, optimised exhaust manifold, tube stack heat exchanger with improved serviceability, 120 amp alternator as standard (150 amp optional) and variable injection timing.

The result is a range of engines with advanced torque and superior power curves, taking the SE engines into the future.

All SE engines are manufactured using the famous Steyr Motors monoblock design and patented 2-stage unit injector and are also available with SOLAS certification.

The SE Engine range will be available from May 2012 and will be officially released at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
