The Haines Group, Australia’s largest fiberglass trailer boat manufacturer and National Suzuki Marine Distributor, announced today that it has made several key appointments to support the business’s growth in both traditional and non-traditional markets.

Ryan Lloyd, the former National Sales Manager, has been promoted to the newly created position of General Manager.

The Haines Group was once exclusively a boat building business. It now has diverse manufacturing and distribution interests across Australia, New Zealand and a recently licensed manufacture-for-export agreement in Asia.

John Haines, CEO for The Haines Group, says that our company needs to continue to evolve its business model in order to continue to deliver value to its dealer network.

'The Haines Group has a proud history of product development and innovation. Given the challenging business environment, we need a dedicated manager of our business both with an appreciation for sales, and that same spirit of innovation.'

'Ryan’s appointment to the General Manager role illustrates our company’s focus on continuing to develop sales opportunities in complex and diverse markets and our ongoing commitment to our existing sales network.'

Ryan Lloyd has worked for The Haines Group in sales management roles since 2003.

Ryan Lloyd’s promotion has prompted a restructure of the sales and marketing functions that will be headed by new Marketing and Sales Manager, Ian Cunningham.

Ian Cunningham is an experienced marketing practitioner and strategist, media commentator and educator and has worked for and consulted to many of Australia and New Zealand’s top companies.
