Ferretti has just launched the latest Custom Line 112 superyacht series for wealthy Chinese owners. Hull 28 of the Custom Line 112 Next series was debuted at Ferretti’s Ancona yard during a private ceremony.

Designed by Advanced Yacht Technology and Zuccon International Project in collaboration with the Centro Stile Ferreti group, the Custom Line 112 Next accommodates 10 guests in a master suite on the main desk and four guest cabins. The boat is powered by twin 2,775hp MTU engines, and is able to reach a top speed of 26 knots.

The yacht will be one of the attractions available to guests of the luxurious real estate and tourist complex of Xanadu South China Sea, which is being built on the island of Hainan. Consisting of a 5-star hotel, numerous villas, a spa, a conference centre, a helicopter landing pad and a private yacht marina, Hainan is considered one of the best tourist destinations for the new elite in China.

Chief sales and marketing office of the Ferretti Group, Lamberto Tacoli said, 'Today’s launching of the Custom Line 112 Next makes us particularly proud. Landing in China, a strategic market of great opportunities, with such an important boat is indeed a very positive threshold for all of us. The delivery of this model adds on to our other models present in the Asian Pacific Area and particularly in China, where we will be present with important investments in the upcoming Boat Shows of Hainan, Shanghai and Qingdao.'

During a private ceremony the 34m planing motor yacht was christened by her Chinese owners from the real estate company Xanadu South China Sea, which is building a luxury resort and residential complex on the island of Hainan. The yacht, which will be berthed at the resort’s private yacht marina, will be at the disposal of guests, and will enhance the luxury offering of the resort which includes a five star hotel, villas, a spa, conference centre and helicopter landing pad. She will be one of the largest motor yachts manufactured in Europe to sail in Chinese waters.

Karen Paggi, Brand Manager of the Ferretti Custom Line said, 'With the Ferretti Custom Line 112 Next, we have significantly improved the functionality of the internal areas without impairing the performance of the boat. This model remains faithful to the tradition of Custom Line, which has always placed the boat owner’s desires first, offering all the emotions link to the experience of living at sea on a ‘tailor made’ Custom version.'
