Want to try a Musto Skiff? Head for Royal Akarana

by RAYC News on 20 Mar 2012
Ben Schooling - Musto Performance Skiff Australian Championships 2012 Russell Bates

Royal Akarana YC has two demonstrator Musto Performance Skiff (MPS) boats available for competent sailors that would like to have a go.

There is an increasing number of skiffs sailed at RAYC and there are six single handed skiffs that are regularly sailed and raced at the weekends (four MPS and two RS 700).

The class is well supported world wide and the first world championships outside of Europe were held in Australia last year with a fleet of 43 boats.

If you would like to arrange a sail in one of the MPS, then please contact Jon Rix (jrix@tonkin.co.nz) or speak to any of the MPS or RS700 sailors in the dinghy park.

If you would like to learn more about the Musto Skiff, please visit the NZ importers website www.specializedmarine.com/index.htm or the International Musto Performance Skiff Class Association website: www.mustoskiff.com/
