Volvo Ocean Race; It's Game Face On Again

by Crosbie Lorimer on 18 Mar 2012 After a sunny early morning start, cloud cover and a building nor-easter is setting the prologue for today's Leg 5 start.

In all of the press conferences over the last couple of days the skippers have been very respectful of each other and of the challenges of this next leg; one that is starting with a full upwind workover in nasty seas before reaching the classic Southern Ocean downwind ride for which this race is famous.

So today the polite smiles give way to serious eyeballing; it's game on again.
