Inaugural 29erXX World Championship announced

The inaugural 29erXX World Championship will be held on Lake Garda, Italy, September 9-15 with Seiko as the title sponsor.

Registration is now open at www.29erxxregattas.org

The 29erXX is a recognized class within ISAF which now grants the Class the rights to hold a World Championship.

The 29erXX has held European Championships since 2010 and a World Cup in 2007, but this will be the first crowning of a World Champion.

The 29erXX has been actively racing on five continents with rigs in over 30 countries around the globe.
