In time for Easter, when boaters and their families celebrate the break by getting out on the water, GME is offering a value-add promotion for customers that is practical and a great safety addition.

GME has teamed up with respected Australian First Aid Specialists Trafalgar to offer two sensational Marine Radio Bonus Packs over the 2012 Easter Period.

'First Aid kits are just what a boater needs,' says Matthew Heap. 'First Aid kits are great to have onboard, especially now as families are spending more time boating together. We felt Trafalgar was a good fit and good synergy, all with safety in mind.'

From mid-March to the end of April both the white GX300, 27MHz radio and the white GX600, VHF radio will be offered in custom promotional packaging which will include a Trafalgar First Aid Kit.

The GX300 27MHz package will include the highly popular Trafalgar Fishing First Aid Kit. This 68 piece kit, a must for all fishermen, ensuring the basic first aid requirements are on hand should any mishap occur. The kit is supplied in a distinctive compact pouch for easy storage aboard any boat.

The GX600 VHF offer will comprise of a more comprehensive Trafalgar Boating First Aid Kit. This custom 85+ piece kit is the perfect companion for all families that love their boating. The contents are securely housed in a weather resistant plastic case that can be conveniently mounted onto a vessel’s bulkhead or stowed.

Both kits are fully compliant with the regulatory standards and requirements of all Australian states and territories.
According to Matthew: 'The GX300 and GX600 are easy to use, compact, and easy to install, especially when dash space is at a premium'.

'They don’t need a lot of room, they’re hardy, durable and they have proven their worth. They are the most popular radio in the Australian marketplace.'
