Roads and Maritime Services has now granted an exclusive use aquatic licence for the safe staging of water ski races at Wyangala Dam this weekend.

Maritime Regional Manager Hunter/ Inland Sonia McKay said boaters should keep clear of the 200 metre perimeter around the race course, from 8am to 6pm both days.

'This area will be used exclusively for the safe staging of water ski races organised by Country Act Ski Racing,' Ms. McKay said.

'The area will be marked by buoys.'

'For safety reasons, skippers should keep clear of this area as it will be restricted for the event and patrolled by control vessels.'

Ms. McKay said unauthorised vessels would not be permitted to enter the exclusive use area unless authorised by event organisers, a Maritime Boating Safety Officer or a Police Officer.

Roads and Maritime Services has granted an exclusive use aquatic licence for the safe staging of speed boat races at Kogarah Bay this Saturday 18 February.

Maritime Operations Manager Botany Bay/ Port Hacking Graeme Dunlavie said boaters should keep clear of the area of Kogarah Bay 200m west of and parallel to Vista Street Sans Souci to an imaginary line adjacent to the intersection of Harris and Water Street Sans Souci in the south, from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

'This area will be used exclusively for the safe staging of speed boat races organised by the St George Aquatic Club,' Mr Dunlavie said.

'For safety reasons, skippers should keep clear of this area as it will be restricted for the event and patrolled by control vessels.'

Mr Dunlavie said unauthorised vessels would not be permitted to enter the exclusive use area unless authorised by event organisers, a Maritime Boating Safety Officer or a Police Officer.

Toronto Bay, Lake Macquarie: Exclusive Use this Saturday.

Roads and Maritime Services has granted an exclusive use aquatic licence for the safe staging of a fireworks display at Toronto Bay, Lake Macquarie, this Saturday.

Maritime Regional Manager Hunter/ Inland Sonia McKay said boaters should keep clear of the bay in a radius of about 200 metres from the fireworks barge from 8pm to 10pm.

'This area will be used exclusively for the safe staging of a fireworks display for Variety the Children’s Charity,' Ms McKay said.

'For safety reasons, skippers should keep clear of this area as it will be restricted for the event and patrolled by control vessels.'

Ms McKay said unauthorised vessels would not be permitted to enter the exclusive use area unless authorised by event organisers, a Maritime Boating Safety Officer or a Police Officer.
