Harken appoints new Australian MD - James van Roon

Harken Yacht Equipment has named marine industry veteran James van Roon Managing Director of Harken Australia.

James comes to us with vast organizational skills and an in-depth knowledge of the Australian marine market, which he has been part of for many years. His leadership combined with the experience, dedication, and enthusiasm of the current Harken Australia team, will help Harken expand its market share and develop new opportunities in this important sailing nation.

An active sailor, James’ previous positions included employment with Ronstan International and Doyle Sailmakers. He is married with three growing children, two of whom have begun their sailing careers.
