Early Bird entries are now being accepted for the Macquarie 2012 Access Worlds to be held at Middle Harbour Yacht Club, Sydney Australia. All entries received and paid by February 10th 2012 will go into the draw for a signed Pro Hart print, donated by fellow contestant Tish Ennis. Final entries must be received no later than Friday 2nd March 2012 or late fees will apply.

One lucky early bird winner will be selected to win a signed print by the iconic Australian artist Pro Hart (www.prohart.com.au). From Wikipedia 'Kevin Charles 'Pro' Hart, MBE (30 May 1928 – 28 March 2006), born in Broken Hill, New South Wales, was considered the father of the Australian Outback painting movement and his works are widely admired for capturing the true spirit of the outback.'

This famous painting entitled 'Boat Race at Alice Springs' was originally painted by Pro Hart around 1980. Alice Springs is in the centre of Australia’s arid region and is the scene for the yearly Henley-on-Todd Regatta, where 'boatraces' are held with bottomless boats, held up by the contestants who have to run through the dry riverbed. But if it rains and there is water in the river, the boat race has to be cancelled!

Tish’s father was given this print in late 1980 when he was working as a doctor at Broken Hill. Tish said 'Dad was interested in snakes and snake bites. Following an interview on the local radio, Pro Hart telephoned him to come and help remove a snake from his garage and they became quite good friends. He and Dad would often spend some time in the evening together and we were given a number of signed Click here to enter this World Championship online. To help us with the organisation, we are keen to receive as many early entries as possible so we can order the right size regatta shirts (first in, best dressed) and plan for the chartering and storage of boats and trailers etc.

You can enter the event NOW and pay before the 2nd March, but to go into the early bird draw you need to pay before February 10th.

I would also urge you to secure accommodation as the regatta is over Easter – refer to website for more Click here
