Festival of Sails - Close of entries extended

by Festival of Sails on 9 Jan 2012
SW
Festival of Sails 2012 starts at the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria, Williamstown on Saturday 21 January and finishes in Geelong on Sunday 29 January. With the close of entries extended until 5:00pm on Sunday 15 January you still have a chance to enter.

All entrants will go into the draw for a chance to win two places on the Mariner Boating Holidays 2013 Aegean Yacht Rally, the annual rally through the Greek Dodecanese Islands and along the Mediterranean coast of Turkey.

Greece and Turkey straddle the invisible border between Europe and Asia. Cultural differences are apparent to the visitor, yet along the coast a Mediterranean lifestyle is common to both countries. Trevor and Maggie Joyce lived in Greece for many years and sailed these waters extensively - so share their knowledge and make your cruising experience complete.

There will be a little spirited competition in a series of short races, each followed by a social occasion that will feature the local cuisine and wines. Late spring along this coast is special with the greenery and wild flowers still in abundance. However, expect daily maximum temperatures in the high 20’s with gentle north westerly winds pushing you along the track.

Enter the Festival of Sails online now, to ensure your place in the draw for this great trip.
