Navico introduces advantage service program

Lowrance, Simrad Yachting and B&G customers are set to benefit from a new customer support program, which is to be introduced in the New Year.

Offered by the brands’ parent company Navico, the Advantage Service program consists of six comprehensive service products – tailored to each brand – to deliver superior support around the world at no additional cost to dealers or consumers.

Navico Asia Pacific chief operating officer John Scott said the Lowrance, Simrad Yachting and B&G programs provided dealers with powerful resources to address their customers’ needs and, for consumers, would ensure any product issues were quickly resolved.

'In the last three years, Navico has aggressively launched new products that lead the global marine electronics industry through innovation,' Mr Scott said.

'To match this commitment, we have dramatically improved our response-rates for inbound consumer enquires.

'Now, through Advantage Service we take another significant step forward with user-friendly, resourceful tools and comprehensive policies that provide best-in-class support to meet and exceed both dealer and consumer satisfaction.'

Offering a unique set of services relevant to each brand, Advantage Service products include the 5-Year Advantage, OnBoard Advantage, +1 Advantage, 24 Swap Advantage, Certified Dealer Advantage and System Builder Advantage.

Of particular interest to consumers, the 5-Year Advantage facilitates fast and flexible service and enhances the overall warranty experience for Lowrance, Simrad Yachting and B&G customers. In the unlikely event of failure within the first five years, the program guarantees that consumers have the option to upgrade to the latest model technology at an attractive discount. Variable discounts apply – including no-charge options for in-warranty products. The program also allows Simrad Yachting and B&G consumers to extend the upgrade discount to complementary components, such as displays, radars and autopilots that comprise their overall system.

Also of significant consumer interest, the OnBoard Advantage program (available for Simrad Yachting and B&G systems valued at over US$2500) provides consumers with the option to receive warranty service from a Certified Dealer onboard their vessel for the first two years under warranty.
