SW
Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie is holding a fishing competition on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November 2011. It's a catch-photo-release competition and open to all boaties in Lake Macquarie.

The next Saturday, 3 December, we'll have a social day for the winners with a sausage sizzle. So join in the fun, catch some fish, enjoy the Lake, and support Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie!

The target species for the competition are Flathead and Bream which need to be caught within the Lake Macquarie area. Competitors will photograph their catch on the supplied brag mat and can send their largest catch to our competition e-mail address for judging.

Entry fees are $10 per person or $30 per family/group of up to five people. You can enter online with the entry form attached below or by visiting us at the Pelican base (Lakeview Parade, Pelican) on Friday 25 November 6pm to 8pm or on Saturday 26 November until 12pm. Payment via cash, cheque, or credit card.

Entry form is available here.

More information, rules, and payment information are included in the entry form. If you have any questions, you can contact us on Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie website
