America’s Cup World Series third stop is being held in San Diego, California in mid November. Oracle Racing Coutts will contest next month’s event with a revised crew line up.

Darren Bundock will take the helm at the third ACWS event whilst fellow Australian Olympic sailor Tom Slingsby also comes aboard for the first time. Russell Coutts Oracle Racing’s CEO, will attend the San Diego event but won’t be racing.

Bundock is a two time Olympic silver medalist in the Olympic Tornado catamaran class; Slingsby is the current World number one ranked competitor in the Olympic singlehanded Laser class.

Oracle Racing’s second crew headed by James Spithill will compete in San Diego with a crew unchanged from August’s ACWS-Cascais (Portugal) and last month’s ACWS-Plymouth (UK).

ACWS-San Diego is scheduled November 12 to 20 with racing staged right in heart of San Diego Bay between Broadway Pier and Harbor Island.
