Tasar World Championships 2011 - Australians in top three positions

After three races at the Tasar World Championships being held at the Royal Torbay Yacht Club, UK, Australians fill the top three positions. Reigning World Championship Robert and Nicole Douglass sit at the top of the leader board. Paul Ridgway and Bronwyn Ridgway are second with Richard Longbottom and Darryl Bentley third.

56 crews from Australia, Japan, Great Britain, Ireland, Canada and The Netherlands lined up for the start of race 1, which was won by Malcolm Davies and Fiona Davies, from Paul Ridgway and Bronwyn Ridgway. Robert Douglass and Nicole Douglass were third.

Race 2 was won by the Douglass' from Craig McPhee and Gillian Berry with Paul Ridgway and Bronwyn Ridgway third.

Robert Douglass and Nicole Douglass took Race 3 from Paul Ridgway and Bronwyn Ridgway. Richard Longbottom and Darryl Bentley were third.

Racing continues until 23rd September.
