Flying Dutchman National Championship 2011 will be held from 9th to 11th September in Forio d'Ischia, Naples, Italy.

The Circolo Nautico Punta Imperatore, in partnership with the Circoli Velici del Golfo di Napoli Committee, is excited to announce the dates of the first Flying Dutchman Championship which is sponsored by Ferrarelle© and Garofalo©.

As major famous brands originating from the Naples area, the sponsors share with the Flying Dutchman Championship the passion for sports and teamwork in the unison with the idea of challenge and collaboration.

Ferrarelle© and Garofalo© will also be providing prizes to the first three boats classified in the overall standing.

European and Italian teams will take part in this event belonging to the famous and prestigious Flying Dutchman sailing class, considered a symbol of beauty, elegance and technological innovation for more than 60 years.

Along with the sailing venue, the Ischia Island offers much in the way of activities and sights to see.
