Tianjin Yachting Show aims to showcase region to the world

The second China Tianjin International Yachting Show & New Idea New Life Show will be held at Tianjin Meijiang Convention & Exhibition Centre first to 4th September, 2011.

Around 60 exhibitors are due to attend, showing Products and Services including boats and yacht accessories, water tourism, motor boats, sailing boats and yachts, small boats, Superyachts, Water skiing equipment, diving or fishing, jet skis or accessories.

Organisers intend to extend the offering to luxury cars, cars, wine, fashion brands and there will be representation from France, Italy, Australia, Britain, the United States, Japan as well as domestic brands and boats.

According to organisers, the visitor profile includes trade public importers,exporters, marina developers departments, manufacturers of canoeing, sailing, cruise liners industry, motor boats manufacturers industry, boating equipments and other related professionals and General public are the target visitors.

The show launched in 2010 as a means of promoting the Binhai New Area and its potential for recreational boating. Organisers expressed the hope that this exhibition will continue to boost Tianjin yacht industrial development.

During the exhibition, a yacht market conference will be held, as well as China's most prestigious wine awards, displays of luxury yachts, sailing test drives and other entertainment and activities.

Tianjin's urban area is located along the Hai River, which connects to the Yellow and Yangtze Rivers via the Grand Canal in Tianjin. The Binhai New Area is a new growth centre in China, and it maintains an annual growth rate of nearly 30% of the GDP. As of the end of 2010, 285 Fortune Global 500 companies have established branch offices in Binhai. It is a base of China's advanced industry, financial reform, and innovation.
