First up, Ken Read takes a look back at PUMA's IRC overall victory in the 2011 Trans Atlantic Race. From the extremes of possible 24-hour speed run world records to the battle against the currents for the finish, the race has it all. 'does this sport have to be this hard?' he asks



Team Sanya Skipper Mike Sanderson gives Chinese sailor and potential team member Teng Jianghe a guided tour of the 'Sanya Lan'. He is one of a number of Chinese sailors who will be trying out for spots on the race crew. The boat is being given a thorough re-fit prior to a re-launch for the Fastnet Race on August 14th.



Ian Walker's Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing Team are now settled at their training base in Cascais Portugal. Ready access to the Atlantic Ocean and a full range of sailing conditions will help the team in the game of catch up they are playing with the fleet.
