Laser Radial Youth World Championships day 6

Laser Radial Youth World Championships 2011 were held between 24th and 31st July in La Rochelle, France.

After six days of really great sailing the Laser Radial Youth World Championships are over for the 370 competitors from 44 countries.

ISAF Youth Worlds Laser Radial Girls silver medallist Erika Reineke (USA) and Laser Radial Boys bronze medallist Giovanni Coccoluto (ITA) came out on top in their respective fleets.

The last day continued to follow the usual pattern of sea breeze, just the much lighter version with wind of six to eight knots up to a maximum of 10 knots. All fleets sailed one race on the final day adding up 11 races overall except the Boys gold fleet where the 12 planned races for the Championships were run.
