Barz Optics new KONA polarized model suits prescription glasses

KONA SPLIT Barz Optics Kevin Barr
The new Kona Polarised model from Barz Optics has a functional wrap frame and is supplied with detachable side wind guards for extreme conditions.

According to Kevin Barr, founder of the progressive Australian company, what's unique about this sunglass is the detachable clear frame that sits behind the main frame.

Kevin says the new model will suit 'the budget conscious and those looking for a stylish option'.

'If a person wears glasses for short sightedness they have two options when it comes to polarised lenses. 1) they can wear large fitover polarised sunglasses that fit over the top of their normal glasses and age you 10 to 15 years as soon as you put them on (around $45) or 2) they can purchase prescription polarised sunglasses from $400 to $600 from your optometrist. However our new Kona is now another option.'

For less than $200, you get a stylish, durable TR90 frame, with side blinkers that can be clipped on for protection in heavy conditions, or when working in the glare.

The small clear frame will contain most prescriptions. The prescription only needs to be clear as the main lens is polarised. 'So for a great price, a person can have a prescription polarised pair of sunglasses,' adds Kevin.

The frame has an adjustable nose pad for optimum fit.
