www.nexusmarine.se!Nexus_Marine_AB of Sweden announce partnership with Salona Yachts from Croatia, one of Europe’s most prestigious builders of sailing yachts.

The partnership will begin with the brand new Salona 38, which will be launched in June 2011 and then extend to the whole of the Salona range including the new flagship Salona 60 designed by Jason Ker with Nexus forming the electronics package for Salona’s 'ready to sail' package. Nexus is also well-known in the racing market and our instruments will match Salona’s customer’s aspirations and requirements perfectly.' The deal will mean that Nexus Marine will potentially supply 50 boats per year and will also see Salona and Nexus team up with some joint marketing. This will include the star owner of Nexus, Dean Barker, (Emirates Team NZ America’s Cup skipper) promoting the relationship by test sailing the S38 and the inclusion of Salona / Nexus yachts on a wider scale in both companies marketing materials.

'We are so pleased to welcome Nexus on board the Salona crew' adds Nenad Susanj, Salona’s Head of Sales; 'our customers expect quality, precision and reliability from our yachts and Nexus share the same philosophy for their instruments. The NX2 range of instruments allows our customers an increased range of connectivity, choice and sailing enjoyment; whilst on a commercial level Nexus’ have shown the willingness to focus on the Salona brand, provide sales and installation training for our staff and enable our customers to have a wider variety of choices for their instrument needs.'

Simon Dickens adds 'I am excited about the new opportunities our partnership with Salona opens up to us. We will be actively building on this success to partner with other major boat builders around the world.
