Platu 25 World Championships saw three highly competitive races in Gmunden.
Italian Francesco Laner's 'Euz II Monella Vagabonda' helmed by Sandro Montefusco with Markus Sigrist as a tactician is at the top of the provisional rankings after the first day of competition.
The local Austrian team 'La Burra', one of the favourites of the Worlds is second with 23 points, followed by 'Bribon Movistar' helmed by Marc de Antonio, just one point behind La Burra.
