Yachting Australia’s Perth edition of its IRC Forum for current and prospective IRC boat owners and other interested parties is attracting plenty of interest. The event will be held at the Royal Perth Yacht Club this Monday, 30th May 2011.
The evening will be presented by a panel of specialists, including Glen Stanaway, Sport Services Manager, Yachting Australia, Chris Kelly, Chairman, Yachting WA Offshore Committee, Ian Ball, Yachting Australia accredited IRC Measurer and Trevor Taylor, WA IRC Owners Representative.
As well as giving an insight into the history, management and future of the IRC rule, the forum will be owner-focused with the agenda including optimising your rating, crew and weight limits, the IRC State Championships and fleet splits for offshore racing. It will also include a Q&A consultation session.
The Forum commences at 7.15pm. The Forum is free but attendees need to register by logging on to Yachting Australia’s online event registration system
