Chaparral Australia is seeking expressions of interest from potential franchisees and state distributors to further develop its national retail network to sell and service this high-end US boating marque.

With an extensive and internationally-awarded product range spanning family bowriders, ski/wakeboard boats, cuddy cabins, sports cruisers and premiere motor yachts, three franchise levels are available – Trailer Boat, Cruiser and Premiere.

Chaparral Australia director Scott O’Hare said the strategic plan was to create a truly national and fully-supported retail network – something unique in the Australian marine industry.

The brand is considered premium in the US and all over the world. 'Chaparral has a wide product range, reputation for quality and innovation, and has spent $18M on R&D in the past two years. It's a Sports boat range built with saltwater mentality.'

Expressions of interest are not limited to existing boat dealers, he continued. ''And we expect to receive a significant level of enquiry from all over the country.'

'The key factors being considered are a genuine passion for boating, strong customer focus and a readiness to represent one of the most revered boat brands on the market.'

Drawing upon successful models in the automotive and other industries, Chaparral Australia’s plan for a national network is akin to some prestigious car brands, albeit adapted to suit the variables unique to the marine industry.

Among a host of genuine commercial advantages offered by the Chaparral brand, successful applicants will benefit from professional marketing support, product training, comprehensive sales support and numerous additional sales and customer service incentives.

'We provide national marketing campaign at no additional cost to dealers, we assist with boat show and local promotional event costs, we share rebates and one off promotional deals with dealers, provide point of sale materials and staff apparel,' said O'Hare. 'We also provide comprehensive sales and systems training, provide full warranty and spare parts support and intend to create a dealer group that actively promotes the sharing of information, access to each other’s stock boats and genuine networking opportunities.'

To register your interest in this exciting opportunity, contact Chaparral Australia – (03) 9397 6977 or email scott@chaparralaustralia.com.au

Scott O'Hare is contactable on 0417 511 340 Thursday and Friday at Sanctuary Cove.
