Tacktick Coach Boat Pack TackTick
Wireless marine electronics experts, Tacktick, have launched an innovative new Coach Boat Pack to assist sailing coaches in their training of sailors.

The Tacktick Coach Boat Pack comprises a wind transmitter, GPS antenna, Compass Transducer, Hull Transmitter and a hand held Tacktick Remote Display. The system which is waterproof, portable between coach boats and easy to calibrate enables Race Coaches to have accurate true wind speed and direction data which is essential to maximise training sessions.

The wireless, solar powered wind transmitter, which is fitted to the coach boat using just three screws, combined with the GPS antenna and Compass Transducer send true wind speed and direction information wirelessly to the solar powered Remote Display which the Coach can see in the palm of his hand. The Remote Display not only shows accurate wind speed and direction data but can also display graphical trends of both wind speed and direction over periods of 15 minutes to 16 hours.

The Coach Boat Pack has been developed in conjunction with David Howlett, internationally renowned sailing coach to Ben Ainslie, Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson, and has been perfected to deliver essential and accurate true wind information to the coach boat both when moving, drifting and at anchor.

Being both wireless and solar powered, the Tacktick Coach Boat Pack can be fitted in minutes without the need for batteries and with the added bonus of being totally portable between boats.

Detailed information about the Coach Boat Pack together with pricing and purchasing details can be found at here.
