The 30th Biennial San Diego to Puerto Vallarta race, hosted by San Diego Yacht Club (SDYC), will be held March 1st – 10th, 2012.

Ricardo Brockmann’s RP52 Vincitore is the first entry for the 30th edition of the San Diego to Puerto Vallarta yacht race. At the other end of the spectrum is David Garman from Renton WA. who will be fulfilling a lifelong dream with a bunch of buddies aboard his Soverel 33 as a 50th birthday present from his wife. Also for the first time there will be a multi-hull class in the Puerto Vallarta race, H.L Enloe's LoeReal, a 60 foot trimaran is the first multi-hull entry.

For those who may have forgotten, the latest edition, held last spring, was sailed in record-setting conditions as the entire fleet set a blistering pace in the final third of the track from southern Baja across the Sea of Cortez into the Banderas Bay finish line. SDYC video gallery)
