Azzura Marine, under their brand Classic Yachts Australia, is looking forward to the arrival this month of a Cornish Crabber Shrimper 19. This is the first Cornish Crabber to hit Australian shores since Azzura Marine's appointment as sole Australian distributors for the Cornish Crabber range late last year.

The Cornish Crabber range, built in Cornwall in the UK, is recognised around the world as the leading brand of traditionally styled sailing yachts offering classic looks and modern technology without the upkeep of a wooden yacht. The range includes 6 models from 17 to 30 feet including the Cornish Shrimper 19, the most popular model, with over 1000 built since 1979. She has classic styling that appeals to sailors of any generation and build quality that matches her reputation as the best British production Gaffer of all time.

Until today the only option for the classic yacht enthusiast in Australia was to take on the time, expense and commitment involved in owning a traditional classic yacht. The arrival of the Cornish Crabber range in Australia offers an alternative for the time poor classic yacht enthusiast.

On their decision to break into the Australian market, Peter Thomas, Managing Director of Cornish Crabbers UK, said 'We are delighted to be working with Azzura Marine and we're excited to be developing an Australian market for our quality Cornish boats. We've got high hopes for the future in Australia, as well as for our international network.'
