Leading global boat shipping and logistics company, Peters and May USA truly believes the world is its oyster.

The company claims an ‘unsurpassed reputation’ for providing seamless, worry-free transport worldwide for any style of boat, from a personal watercraft to an entire fleet.

Boat builders, boat brokers, boat dealerships and boat owners are among Peters and May’s satisfied clients, along with several offshore race teams and other powerboat racing groups.

The company recently signed an agreement with the Qatar Marine Sports Federation (QMSF) to become its exclusive shipping agent and official logistics provider.

Sheikh Hassan bin Jabor Al-Thani, president of the QMSF, who was in Australia late last year competing in the Australian Offshore Superboat Championships, explained the federation had a ‘tight schedule.’

'We have a rigid program,' he said, 'and Peters and May’s success in securing shipping dates and arrival times to QMSF events in Qatar has given the company an edge in transporting our equipment around the world.

'Peters and May USA has also been efficient in exporting and importing urgent racing equipment for us and we have used the company on several occasions,' he added.

Although headquartered in Chicago, Peters and May USA also has an office in Fort Lauderdale, virtual ‘boating capital’ of the United States and is a sponsor of the Florida Powerboat Club.

Parent company is Peters and May UK.

Peters and May won its reputation for its successful worldwide shipment of recreational boats of all shapes and sizes, but it has no broadened its presence in racing circles.

Its services are now being utilised by offshore,, tunnel boat and various hydroplane classes to move race boats and equipment to relevant venues.

Always keen to expand its business, Peters and May now also attends to the transportation needs of race cars and valuable collector automobiles.

One Australian recipient of Peters and May USA efficiency is prominent Sydney marine dealership Premier Marine.

The dealership is the Australian distributor for Chris-Craft and Regal powerboats and both US companies use Peters and May USA for their exports, whether it be to Australia, Asia, Europe or South America.

Peters and May USA will be on hand during next week’s Miami International Boat Show and Strictly Sail exhibition, not only providing information in relation to the company’s services, but giving show visitors the opportunity to take a close-up look at a hydroplane, a tunnel boat and a fully functional turbine engine.

Top race boat drivers and throttlemen will visit the display to meet and greet race fans.

The company’s sponsorship of powerboat racing has been a welcome input to the sport.

A Peters and May USA spokesman said the right type of sponsorship opportunity can be 'an excellent blending of business and pleasure.'
