Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show - The Fairline Targa 58 GRAN Turismo is being displayed at the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show 2011 this month, following her award win in the 'Sportscruiser Above 45ft' category of the 'Motor Boat of the Year' Awards 2011, which were recently hosted in London, UK.

Being shown at the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show for the first time, the magnificent Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO is a spacious three cabin, three en-suite express cruiser with an optional fourth-crew cabin and en-suite.

The truly forward-thinking design, with light and space at its core, encompasses key trends and technological features to offer bright, open and light-filled accommodation. With the master cabin and cleverly designed en-suite placed forward, owners have an expansive full-width accommodation and with only the foredeck above, natural daylight floods through overhead glazing.

The enclosed single-level living and galley space can be transformed to offer an open-air space as the roof glides open at the touch of a button and the panoramic 3m side windows retract. This allows guests to enjoy the freedom of fresh air from the galley to the transom, a feature unique on a boat of this size and price range. By contrast, when a closed space is required to shield from rain or sun, the cockpit features a powered aft sunshade.

The stern platform features the innovative, patent-pending, concealed mechanized Fairline Tender Launch option for Williams 325 Jet RIB. Another key feature at the aft deck is the powered bathing and boarding stairway.

When powered by twin Volvo Penta D13-800 EVC Shaft Diesel engines, the anticipated top speed of the Targa 58 GRAN Turismo is 32 knots*. When powered by twin Volvo Penta D13-900 EVC Shaft Diesel engines, the anticipated top speed is 33 knots*.

Adam Greenwood, Technical Director at Fairline Boats, comments on the Award win: 'We are absolutely delighted that the design of this model has been recognized. The Targa 58 GRAN Turismo was the launch pad for new concepts such as the Tender Launch System, which we designed in-house to assist owners in launching and retrieving their tender.

We also introduced an entirely new Fairline interior layout with the master cabin and en-suite forward to maximize space on board whilst still creating a luxurious living space.'

The three-model line-up on display at the Show also includes the Squadron 65 and the Squadron 78 CUSTOM flybridge motor yachts. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the scale model of the new Targa 50 Gran Tursimo, which made her world launch in January 2011, and Squadron 50, scheduled for launch at the end of 2011.

Visitors to the Fairline booth (ramp 36, Collins Avenue) at the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show will meet authorised Fairline representatives from Brazil, California, Dominican Republic, Fort Lauderdale, Mexico, New York and Venzuela.
