Osculati appoints new agent to drive export sales

Osculati SpA, Europe's leading producer and distributor of marine equipment, has appointed Ian Stevenson as its agent for UK, Ireland, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Based in Milan (Italy), Osculati is a long-established family owned business. It supplies all the major boat builders in Italy and Europe with products from its extensive 16,000-item catalogue.
Ian Stevenson joins Osculati from Lewmar, where he spent more than 12 years working in various roles from sales executive to marketing and product director. Based in the UK, Ian will establish strong links with OEM's and the retail sector throughout Northern Europe to expand Osculati's business interests.

Osculati was established in 1958 as a result of the competitive activity of its founder, Emilio Osculati. Emilio competed in Motorboat Class A events (250 and 250 cc.); he won 9 Italian championships and one European championship.
Since 1962, Osculati has manufactured various marine accessories, including aluminium rudders, rescue jackets and deck equipment. It is currently operating in two establishments, one in Milan and one in Lucca, with an overall area in excess of 12,000 square metres. All of the 16,000 products in its catalogue are distributed globally. In addition to theses offices, it also has a retail store in Milan.
Osculati prides itself on its quality systems. It has held certification according to the ISO 9000 quality systems (ISO 903 for its Milan site since 1994 and ISO 9002 for its base in Lucca since 1995).
