FinScan launches IntelliCORE, distributed power and intelligence

Marine electronics manufacturer FinScan is seeking distributors in all regions for its exciting new product, IntelliCORE, launched at this year's METS.

The IntelliCORE system is a CANbus based AC and DC load switching,lighting control, Security Alarm, Keyless Entry, SMS vessel Monitoring system designed for easy snap together installation.

The entire system is controlled from an intuitive, easy to use , graphical menu system on a weatherproof LCD touchscreen. Designed for easy installation, IntelliCORE can reduce labour and material cost due to its unique modular structure, and save space by doing away with space consuming AC and DC switchboards.

From security, to lighting control, to power distribution, each module on the CANbus is controlled from one or many touchscreens, allowing for easier operation, installation and expansion of the system. iCORE DC power modules can switch up to ten circuits, each having solid state switching with integrated circuit protection and high current connection points, allowing for a modular decentralised installation.

'We are very excited about the launch of IntelliCORE, as it can be used with our existing fingerprint technologies, or independently as a primary AC / DC switching system. The merging of power, security, keyless entry and monitoring into one product, ticks all the boxes of smart technology that can be deployed easily and efficiently' said FinScan Director Simon Matthews.

IntelliCORE will be available in different configurations to cater for end users and installers performing upgrades to existing electrical systems, through to boat builders wanting smarter , and more efficient technology driven from one system. Available in : Retail Pack Cost Effective system replaces traditional DC switchboards and circuit breakers in retail sales outlets with 1 x End user configurable touchscreen and 1 or 2 iCORE 10 way DC switching units. Brings Digital switching technology to the end user.

Pre-Configured Builders Pack: Available to cater for lower volume small to medium size Boat builders looking at deploying a pre configured decentralised Intelligence center to their boat designs. Has a modular expansion approach - Provides AC/DC switching - Security - Keyless Entry - SMS monitoring and control from the one touchscreen.

OEM Custom Pack: Available to boat builders or companies wanting to deploy the IntelliCORE technology into their boat designs with Company branding and yacht specific screens made available for load switching. Graphical overlays of actual yacht are added to the IntelliCORE screens for each yacht model supported. FinScan is seeking distributors in all regions for this exciting new product.
