Wireless electronics experts Tacktick are launching a new, easy-to-install system comprising of speed, depth, and wind instruments that are available now through all Coursemaster Autopilot’s dealers in Australia.
The low-cost T038 system is ideal for all cruising yachts up to 35 feet and includes a wireless wind transmitter, individual speed, depth and wind displays, and a combined tri-ducer and hull transmitter for wireless data transfer.
Whether replacing existing instruments or a new-build installation, the wireless data transfer ensures all the instruments are simple to install and may be self installed in a matter of hours saving considerable costs. No wires down the mast or through the deck, three screws for the wind transducer, and 12volt power is only required for the displays and hull transmitter.
The T038 displays have large 38mm readouts, backlighting for night sailing and are completely waterproof to 10m ensuring no condensation.
Tacktick offer individual Entry Level retrofit instruments for those who already have the relevant Airmar transducers installed: Depth (T034), Speed (T035) and combined Depth and Speed with separate displays (T037).
