Walcon Marine Australia Pty Ltd has established a new office in Queensland, located in Waterways Drive at Coomera, one of Australia’s most dynamic marine precincts.

Managing Director, James Walters, said 'The establishment of our new offices is a logical step forward which further consolidates Walcon Marine’s position as a leading supplier of quality, modern, state-of-the-art, marina systems and equipment to the Australian market'.

The office is headed up by Walcon’s East Coast General Manager, Andy Goss. 'I am certain that our local presence in Queensland will be welcomed by marina developers and marina operators throughout the State. We look forward to the opportunity of servicing the expanding Queensland market with our innovative marina systems and services', Goss said.

'Including our offices in Perth and Sydney we now have a comprehensive east-west network with experienced marina professionals capable of servicing the industry’s needs in all Australian States' he added.

With Andy Goss responsible for the East Coast operations his location in Queensland greatly facilitates his operational roles with the organizers of both the Sydney and Sanctuary Cove International Boat Shows. These are the largest showcase events of their industry and both events use the Walcon floating pontoon system for their massive, temporary marinas. Walcon Marine Australia sees this new office as a further commitment to the successful operation of these iconic events.

The expanded structure ensures Australian marina developers in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland will receive the best possible response and assistance beyond the initial contact. Drawing on a team of marina applications specialists, and a UK resource team, the Walcon Marine Australian operation is now providing even greater service levels for its Australian clients.
end.

Walcon Marine Australia is a wholly owned subsidiary of the family owned company, Walcon Marine Limited (UK). The Australian company was established in Mandurah, WA in 2000. The company installs their floating pontoon systems and engineered components in large and small marina installations across the country, as well as in nearby Pacific and Asian countries. The hire Division also supplies and builds the massive temporary floating pontoon systems for Sydney and Sanctuary Cove International Boats Shows.
