Capital Insurance Brokers ACT Dinghy Titles - 30 and 31 October

by Nicole Douglass on 13 Oct 2010
CYC Media
The Capital Insurance Brokers ACT Dinghy Titles will again be sailed from the Canberra Yacht Club this year on the 30th and 31st October, for all off-the-beach dinghies, International Flying Fifteens and also the International 2.4m class.

Why not join in on the action and get back into regatta sailing right at the start of the season. There are sure to be some interstate visitors with the upcoming NS14 and Flying Fifteen Nationals to be held out of the CYC over the Christmas period. The regatta will also be the ACT State Championships for the Optimist, Spiral & NS14 classes. The Tasars and Spirals are also using the regatta as a NSW Traveller’s Trophy event. So even if you can’t get out on the water, come down to the club to see the spectacle.

The annual ACT Dinghy Champs dinner will be held upstairs on the Saturday 30th October from 7:00pm. Tickets are $30 for a three-course meal. This is always a great event, and this year a notable Tasar team will talk about their love of sailing and how they continue to improve and achieve in their class.

You can now enter, view the NOR or purchase dinner tickets online via the website – www.canberrayachtclub.com.au.

The Canberra Yacht Club crew look forward to seeing you there!
