Heaven Can Wait - Getting across the line!!

by Heaven Can Wait Media on 8 Oct 2010
Heaven Can Wait Heaven Can Wait Media
Thanks very to all the boats and crews who participated in this year's event, and their support for our fundraising activities, primarily aimed at men's cancer research and support programs.

Please help get us over the line!

As you would know, we have raised a record amount of money from this year's event: currently we are sitting on over $38,000 raised through both the EveryDayHero website, through the Heaven Can Wait race entry forms and some cash donations.

We'd dearly love to see this total get to over $40,000 by the end of this weekend, when the fundraising process ends (midnight, Sunday October 9, 2010).

If you have any crew, friends, family or colleagues who'd promised donations to support boats in this event, but haven't yet made them, now is the time to give them a gentle reminder. It's very easy: All they need to do is to go here then click on the name of any boat and make a donation through the EveryDayHero site.

A tax-deductible tax receipt is issued immediately.

Coming up: War stories and photographic competitions

We're just finalising details of our HCW 2010 'War Stories' and photographic competitions -- including details of the great prizes on offer. These will be out in the next day or so.

The 2010 Heaven Can Wait Regatta would like to acknowledge the contribution and support of our sponsors, without whom this event would not be possible. We would encourage all regatta participants to support our sponsors wherever possible.
