For its third competition day in Cagliari, Audi A1 powered by ALL4ONE welcomed on board a special 13th man: the famous actor Jean Reno, who supported the French-German team all along today's coastal race.

Jochen Schümann and his team finished in fourth position on this race, after more than three hours racing in front of Cagliari in a wind from 12 to 14 knots. Audi A1 powered by ALL4ONE is in fifth place of the provisional general ranking tonight. Two more competition days will be raced, and the team will fight hard to finish on the podium, which is still within its reach.

Jochen Schümann, Skipper: 'the coastal race was not too bad for us. Obviously we were in a good position (2nd place) at the top mark, and then we built on that a little bit. So I think with a little bit more luck and better sailing we could have been second at the end. We could see how Matador built on their lead, and I think there have been options for us as well to do the same. We made some mistakes, but for us it's good, as it was a hard fight. More boats nearly passed us, so quite happy to keep the fourth place in the end. '

Jean-Marie Dauris, Bowman: ' We are a bit disappointed, as we could have done better than fourth. We kept the second place for a while after the start, but we did a few small mistakes that have cost us a lot. Then we missed a little bit of luck on the last upwind leg, where we lost two places. We fought well, but it is a bit disappointing. '

Jean Reno, 13th man on board Audi A1 powered by ALL4ONE : « I had the sensation to be a candid on board, and it is quite impressive. The hardest part is the wind management, as it is very instinctive. I think it must take a lot of time to manage to helm such a boat in that kind of situation. It would take a full book to explain what is going on on board. It is also very human, even if they do some very precise manoeuvres. »
