Leisure Marine goes sole Honda

One of Brisbane's largest marine retailers, Leisure Marine has recently become a sole Honda dealership.

Established in 1989 and signing on as Queensland's first Honda Marine dealer in the early '90s, Leisure Marine had previously sold a range of two-stroke outboards alongside Honda's technologically-advanced four-stroke marine engines.

Leisure Marine proprietor Bob Stevenson said the decision to go sole Honda was a natural progression for the business.

'Representing a range of premium boat brands, it's only logical to package them with premium outboard engines,' Mr Stevenson said.

'Given our long-term relationship with Honda, the decision to focus on our business' future success with the most-refined outboard technology available was very easy.

'We have three full-time Honda Certified Technicians who know these engines back to front... not that we see too many Hondas in the workshop, save for their scheduled servicing!'

Servicing the Brisbane and northern Gold Coast region, Leisure Marine is located on the doorstep of Brisbane's boating playground, Moreton Bay. The one-hectare site incorporates a large yard and showroom, service centre, and a massive 600sqm chandlery division - offering one of Queensland's most extensive ranges of boating, fishing and skiing accessories.
