The Hainan Rendez Vous, Asia's first and only exhibition exclusively dedicated to business jets, large yachts and luxury lifestyle will return from April 1st to April 4th 2011 at the Visun Marina in Sanya (Hainan Island, China).

With more exhibition space and several format changes for the second edition, organizers are aiming to showcase many more world-famous brands to the growing thousands of high-net worth visitors expected to attend.

The 2010 inaugural event which showcased 12 leading brands of business jets, over 60 yachts from 40 to 100 feet and an expansive range of luxury watch, jewellery and fashion brands saw the sale of luxury items totalling over US$90 million. It firmly established China as the world's next leading luxury market and made the Hainan Rendez Vous the best event in China and Asia for the viewing and purchasing of exclusive private yachts and business jets.

Set in China's only tropical location, the event is a successful marriage of western concepts and Chinese culture. With the fervent support of Mr. Yu Xun, Deputy Secretary of Hainan Province, the event has created several amazing opportunities for the development of the economy and tourism industry on the island.

'The first Hainan Rendez Vous brought with it many breakthroughs and opportunities for the development of tourism on our island. It gathered together Chinese and Western cultures and integrated them on the Chinese Riviera into a world-class trend-setting event, enhanced by the natural setting of the venue.'

Organised by China Rendez Vous, promoters of some of China's leading luxury events, and supported by official media partner Blu Inc Media Publications which publishes China Boating, Asia-Pacific Boating, Jet Asia-Pacific and AsiaSpa Magazines, the second Hainan Rendez Vous will once again be held at the dazzling Visun Marina which will boast new features than those seen at the first event. Visun Marina is owned by the Visun Group which is also behind the Visun Royal Yacht Club.

The Hainan Rendez Vous was created to meet the growing luxury needs of the fast developing Chinese elite. By bringing together some of the world's leading shipyards, jet manufacturers, and important leading luxury brands, interior designers, consultants, and marina developers, the event offers a comprehensive overview of the latest products and technological innovations.

'The Hainan Rendez Vous 2010 was an event that presented to the world, the future of China's luxury market.' Noted Azimut-Benetti Group CEO and Founder Paolo Vitelli, who attended the inaugural event. 'It was managed with competence and passion and I enjoyed every minute watching the development of China's yachting industry.' Other attendees included Mr John Rosanvallon from Dassault, Mr Francois Chazelle and Mr Fekih from Airbus, General Manager of Heysea Yachts China Leng Xuehua and Chopard’s Vice-President, Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele.

'The Hainan Rendez Vous 2011 will feature a fresh look and offer brand new services and activities for visitors.' promises Delphine Lignieres, Managing Director of China Rendez Vous. 'The 2011 event already has an increase in exhibitors by 35% and will therefore be showcasing an additional 200 exhibitors in the business jet, helicopter and yacht industries including products and services.'

As a unique concept that brings together lifestyle and business, HRV 2011 will offer great networking opportunities with a packed program of prestigious events including Gala Dinners, a golf tournament, and various glamorous events on the Chinese Riviera. Says Lignieres of the upcoming event. 'The Hainan Rendez Vous 2011 will be a leading luxury showcase in China and is definitely going to be an unforgettable event to visit and at which to do business.'
