Thundercat Racing Championship - Organisers have added an extra twist to the contest and will hold four rounds of the championship at the penultimate event this weekend.

This will mean even more racing for the competitors and twice as many points up for grab before their finals in Porthcawl on the second & October 3rd.

Heading into this weekend’s event the P750 class is led by Thundercat #28 – Aquarius Inflatables piloted by Sean Fisher and navigator Grant Pittard. The South African duo hold a comfortable 29 point lead on their closet rivals, 2009 National Champions VoomVoom.com’s James Tapp and Damion Bowen but with 40 points up for grab could leave everything to play for at the finals.

Meanwhile in the P750s championship youngsters Redrouke Racing #27, brothers Jon & Edd Redman hold a 24 point lead over the experienced duo of Etienne Burnett and Will Driscoll of Team ZigZag.

Again the brothers have a comfortable lead but cannot become complacent as Pilot of Team ZigZag Etienne has years of experience at racing Bournemouth and knows that’s the conditions can quickly change providing very varied and taxing racing.

Spectators will be in for a fantastic treat as these teams battle it out for the all important championship points action will take place from around 11am both days and will be fast and furious for all to see.
