See My Sea- The boat swapping holiday-makers

Choose your own exotic location - then find the boat to swap SW
House-swapping has attained its niche in the holiday market, as like-minded people get together to benefit from experiencing another country without the huge expense normally involved in travelling. Now boat-swapping is taking off in a similar fashion.
Innovative company See My Sea offers world wide opportunities to swap your boat for someone else's in another country. So you can discover new horizons, share new experiences with worldwide navigators…due to many everyday restraints, it’s getting hard to sail further than a few miles away from your homeport. But with this concept, you can even offer to swap your house for a boat as well.
So whether you own a sail boat, a motor boat, a house, you can exchange them with the members of the Seemysea network! To be part of the network, you need to subscribe for the small fee of 10 Euros a year.
Here's the report from one family who has enjoyed multiple swaps, as told by 'Marika':
'We have already made an exchange two years ago: George Eric came here in San Francisco, we did racing together and then sailed to Monterrey and the surrounding area.
We also went to Holland, my native country, where we had a wonderful trip along the 'Standing Mast Route' (the only possible path to navigate through the channels with a mast over 9m). We visited the old towns and charming fishing villages.
In May this year, we made an exchange with an English couple. They came here in January, but the weather was not really good.
We gave them a car, so they could wander around and visit the bay and its surroundings. There is so much to see here besides the sailing. We have the mountains, the wine region, rivers, Yosemite National Park, Big Sur, the city itself, marine sanctuaries and many more sites.
We then went to their boat in May. It is located in Turkey and we spent the month of May cruising from Turkey to Greek islands, back and forth. It was wonderful.'
