Oceanlake Marine is gaining strong expertise as the company moves forward in 2010. Tim Shuwalow has been appointed as International Sales Manager and is taking responsibility for customer relations and dealer support. A native Australian, Tim brings his extensive multihull experience and racing talent to the company.

'Tim is simply one of the best multihull sailors anywhere' says Oceanlake founder Calle Hennix. 'Everyone who has sailed with him knows that Tim has an incredible level of insight and feel that he can translate into speed and performance on the race course'.

Oceanlake Marine is behind the successful full-carbon SeaCart 30 trimaran that made its debut in 2005. The Seacart 30 concept was the brainchild of Calle Hennix and is designed by Marc Lombard.

'I'm eager to work closely with Calle to help evolve the company and bring these great boats to a broader audience' says Tim. 'We're on a roll after this summer's Cowes Week win, plus I'm really enthusiastic about our design and development program' Calle states.

New model to be revealed in upcoming launch
To complement the offshore-capable SeaCart 30, Oceanlake will soon launch a new, smaller 26-foot One Design trimaran for inshore and coastal racing. While it stems from the pedigree of the 30-footer, this new class has been created from a blank sheet, and features systems that will help achieve excellence both on and off the water. The new SeaCart is set to create a new standard in affordable, high-performance sailing!

Oceanlake Marine will officially announce the launch of the new SeaCart 26 One Design during October 2010.
