Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show - more than a boat show!

Mandurah, just 74kms south of Perth, is a marine hub all year round. MIAA
Australia’s third largest boat show, held in Mandurah, Western Australia October 8-10, the Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show is held in partnership with the Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club at the Mandurah Ocean Marina.

The show has grown year on year, with the 2008 show boasting 250 exhibitors promoting WA’s boating, fishing and outdoor lifestyle.

The Show has a family lifestyle focus and also features cooking demonstrations from our resident Celebrity Chef Bart Beek and Camp Cooking and Bush Tucker from the legendary Malcolm Douglas. Entertainment and Fashion Parades also make this show a big family day out.

This year there will be a large number of new releases being showcased, as well as exciting new products. Combing boat exhibitions that range from $10m yachts to fishing tinnies and kayaks, with fishing tackle displays, scuba and dive gear, jet skis and electronics creates an event that covers all outdoor water pursuits.

A wide variety of entertainment and attractions completes the package, and makes the Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show so successful year after year.



The 2010 Show will be bursting at the seams with the most exciting and desirable products on the market.
Debuting at this year’s Show is the Australian release of the stunning new 48 Portofino sports cruiser from Sunseeker.

Stepping up from her sisters, the Portofino 48 achieves a remarkable interior plan with a full-beam owner’s aft suite with huge windows to either side. Forward, there’s a clever new VIP suite in which the double bed cunningly swings apart to create twin single berths. With performance up to 30 knots and accommodation for up to 4 guests, this new release is sure to be a show stopper.

For the first time shown in WA, Fairline Western Australia will be exhibiting new four cabin, four en-suite Squadron 65 flybridge motor yacht. The Fairline Squadron 65 has received media praise and accolade including a ‘Motor Boat of the Year’ Award 2010 in the 'Flybridges over 55ft' category, judged by a panel of boat testers from UK marine titles Motor Boats Monthly and Motor Boat & Yachting.

In another West Australian release, Eagle Yachts will be displaying the Bertram 630, a luxury sport fishing yacht complete with tower, which boasts the state-of-the-art engine technology and cutting edge design. They will also bring the Flagship Bertram 700 Enclosed Bridge and the Bertram.

The Maritimo 470 Offshore Convertible, a three cabin/two bathroom luxury cruiser and sportfisher; and the latest Bavaria 32 yacht, which boasts construction quality, performance and value while introducing new and innovative design aspects are also new WA releases being displayed for the first time in WA at this year’s Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show.

Also on display will be four new generation Riviera models, including the 2010 release Riviera 43 Flybridge, Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht, Riviera 3600 Sport Yacht, and the Riviera 5000 Sport Yacht. These Rivieras all powered by the latest POD Drive technology from

Cummins Zeus and Volvo Pent and are being exhibited at the Show by R Marine Perth.

The 2010 Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show will see an impressive display of yachts. Always with a strong presence at the Show, Squadron Marine will this year bring a Lagoon 40-foot Cat and a 50-foot Catamaran; as well as a selection from the Oceanis range. In addition, they will be displaying the First 40 and 35 from Beneteau’s popular racing range.

WA boat builders The Cat Factory will be exhibiting the new Fusion 40 sailing catamaran. The Fusion 40 offers sleek lines in a catamaran that is both easy to sail and economical, and is built using infusion moulding processes to ensure is among the strongest and lightest yachts available in its class.

Vicsail will be bringing the current model Catalina 309 and Catalina 42, as well as displaying Walker Bay boats along with Rocna anchors and the always popular comfort seats!

On display from Seawind Catamarans will be the award winning Seawind 1160, as well as their most popular design the Seawind 1000XL. Catamaran enthusiasts can also get detailed information on the new Seawind 1250 which is still being built; as well as picking up a catalogue on Seawind’s world wide sailing holidays.

Charter Yachts Australia is based at Airlie Beach, and specializes in sailing holidays for couples and groups of up to 10 throughout the Whitsundays. If it is a sailing holiday you are after, the Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show is where to find them!

Making up the impressive display of boats on show, Challenge Marine will exhibit two Australian releases, Boston Whaler’s 37 Outrage, and the European built Searay, 355 Sundancer; as well as a select range from Boston Whaler, Searay, Trophy and Bayliner.

Visitors will also be in for a treat with the extensive range of exciting and innovative products will be exhibited.

Bay Sports Australia will be showing a range of products that are sure to get attention! The Aquaglide range of products include inflatable play equipment such as ramps, slides and rafts, which will be displayed on water so visitors can see the product in action.

Another innovative product being displayed is the Aqua Scooter Seajet from Bladefish. These sea scooters range from the Bladefish 1000, which is primarily designed for the beach shallows or the home pool; to the Bladefish Seajet 5000 for the serious snorkel diver and scuba diver.

For those interested in technology and gadgets, you can’t go past the Fusion Electronics new award winning palm size MS-RA200 Marine Stereo. Featuring Fusion's industry-leading user interface, iPod and iPhone connectivity and integration, USB compatibility, AM/FM tuner, VHF receiver and Sirius Satellite ready, the MS-RA200 will be one of the most exciting new products to be displayed this year.

The Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show proves true the statement that it is more than a boat show with an extensive repertoire of entertainment and activities planned for the weekend, plus many additions to the Show’s structure that are new this year.

A new area designated to personal watercraft will be introduced at the 2010 Show. With top name brands on display and for demonstration, the personal watercraft area will give visitors a chance to see different types of jet skis in action, as well as get onboard and for a test ride. For the fishing enthusiast, the new Western Angler Fishing Super Stage will feature a range of interactive presentations on fishing hotspots around WA, complete with a big TV screen showing aerial views of the fishing spot and presenters giving in depth information on the areas.

The 2010 Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show will also be the platform for the launch of a new initiative 'Discover Boating Open Days'. The 'Discover Boating Open Days' will be held over summer in various locations across Perth and will be an informative and interactive introduction to boating.

Other Show attractions will include fashion shows with the latest fashions from Musto, activities for the kids including competitions, kayak rides and shows, the dive tank available for those who want to try diving, and live music; as well as special guest celebrity chef Bart Beek coming along to show us his best Mediterranean recipes, Malcolm Douglas presenting camp oven cooking.

To celebrate this year’s Show, organisers have put together a package of prizes to give away, which includes a major prize of a Searay 185 sports complete with mercruiser, 135hp engine, 4 stroke; plus Searay custom galvanized trailer, offshore safety gear and family watersports package, and boat and trailer registration; all of which has a combined value of $43,000. Other prizes include Engel fridges, Finn Kayaks, fishing tackle and much more.
