Noakes Group and Sydney Yachts alliance

Noakes Group, Australia’s longest running and most extensive boat yard business, has joined forces with one of the country’s leading yacht manufacturers, Sydney Yachts, to provide Sydney Yacht owners with a cost effective service and maintenance solution.

The Noakes Group’s six boat yards, stretching from Nelson Bay on the NSW coast to Kermandie, Tasmania, have become dedicated Sydney Yachts service centres with owners able to take advantage of significant discounts for haul out and antifoul painting as well as exclusive specials during the off-peak months.

Woolwich Dock will be the preferred Sydney Yachts service centre and with the recent opening of Deckhouse, Sydney Harbour’s newest waterfront function centre and café, Sydney Yacht owners will be offered special rates for new boat launches booked at the Woolwich Dock yard and function venue.

'With the Sydney GTS37, the first of Sydney Yachts’ new breed of Ker Design high performance yachts on its way, there’s sure to be plenty of christening champagne spilt in the traditional manner at Woolwich under the new agreement,' said Sydney Yachts director Darren Williams.

Also on the cards is an annual Noakes sponsored Sydney Yachts Regatta, bringing together all owners for a fun day of class racing on Sydney Harbour likely to be in the format of a Sydney Harbour islands course followed by a prizegiving function at Deckhouse.

'Sydney Yachts endorses Noakes’ services as professional and cost competitive within the marketplace and we see this agreement as a value added benefit to owning a Sydney Yacht,' said Williams.

Noakes Group managing director Sean Langman responded, 'It’s fantastic that two longstanding, wholly Australian owned companies are collaborating to provide owners with service excellence.

'Noakes has modern, environmentally friendly facilities in a number of convenient locations and the know-how to look after all Sydney Yacht owners’ needs.

'With thirty years’ experience in the business we can offer the best advice and repair and maintenance solutions to all our clients whether they own Sydney Yachts, super maxis or timeless timber classics,' Langman added.
