11th Philippine Hobie Challenge- Preliminary Notice of Race

by Philippine Inter-Island Sailing Foundation on 16 Aug 2010
Just another tropical beach anchorage... (PHC 2010) Philippine Inter-Island Sailing Foundation
For the last 10 years there's been a Philippine Hobie Challenge - a Raid style vent going from beach to beach, lapping up some phenomenal sailing and some even more awe-inspiring archipelago scenery. This is when the serious sailors get down and dirty in the sand and go island-hopping all over the 'pines. A different route every year, but this time (Jerry Rollin must be feeling the years creeping up on him) no camping unless you really want to - all the stops are at resorts. Maybe not 6-star resorts, but that's not the point.

If you haven't done a Philippine Hobie Challenge, you've missed out. Read the PNOR, mark the dates in the diary, and sign up. Note: those Entry Fees cover absolutely EVERYTHING. All you have to do is get to Manila with some sunblock and your boardies.

And now they've added a keelboat Challenge Rally as well - it's just going to get bigger and better...
