Serious Racer for Sale - Immaculate Lyons IRC 60

by Yoti on 2 Aug 2010
Vanguard sailing - Vanguard - Lyons 60 Yoti.com.au - Lyons 60 http://www.yoti.com.au/Lyons60
Immaculately maintained by her fastidious owner - Vanguard is now seriously on the market and represents a fantastic 'step on and go' program. Since Vanguard was launched in 2004 she has out performed in all conditions and continues to win regattas and races.

With a brand new transom, squaretop main and the addition of twin backstays, she is now as beautiful to look at as she is to sail.

Designed by David Lyons and built by Azzura Marine in Nowra, she has fantastic pedigree.

The design brief was simple - 'to design the fastest upwind oriented boat we could, build to excel in light to medium conditions, without using water ballast or a canting keel'. 'She will be fast, simple and modern without being too radical, whilst keeping re-sale in mind.

In a twilight or social racing mode, Vanguard can be sailed with as little as 3/4 people, however in serious offshore mode is sailed with 10 to 16 crew depending on the type of racing courses and conditions.

Please contact YOTI - the exclusive agents to organise an inspection in Sydney at the CYCA.
