Yachting New South Wales and Steve Jarvin Motors have announced that their partnership to promote the sport of sailing will continue.
For over five years Steve Jarvin Motors has sponsored Yachting New South Wales with a fleet of vehicles to facilitate the development of the sport of sailing. A Mitsubishi Triton, a Mitsubishi 380, and a Nissan Tiida were recently handed over to Yachting New South Wales in a continuation of this sponsorship.
'Our sports development staff travel long distances often towing a heavy coach boat. It is critical that Yachting New South Wales has good, reliable vehicles in our small fleet and Steve Jarvin Motors has been very generous in providing us with these cars and four wheel drive utes.' Geoff Davidson, Yachting NSW President
Steve ‘Mothy' Jarvin of course is no stranger to the sport of sailing. An Olympic sailor who is still fiercely competitive sailing on Wild Oats, Steve and his family all have a high profile in the sailing community.
'I felt this was a good way of putting something back into the sport which has given so much to my family and I.' Steve Jarvin
Steve's son Seve also has an enviable sailing record. After starting sailing at the age of four, he won the Sabot National Championships when he was eight. He has now gone onto being the skipper of the 18ft skiff Gotta Love It 7.
Steve Jarvin Motors is an award winning dealership with a wide range of Mitsubishi, Nissan and Skoda new vehicles and a comprehensive selection of quality used cars. Yachting New South Wales encourages you to support those who support sailing. www.mymatesteve.com
