Sabre Yachts' 40th Anniversary Rendezvous will take place this weekend – 9-11 July, 2010 – in Boothbay Harbour, Maine (USA).

Celebrating the marque's awarded history, event organisers are expecting over 230 people representing 75 boats to attend the event. Two particular vessels – a sailing yacht from Bermuda and a motoryacht from Florida – are making the long journey along the entire east coast of the United States to arrive just in time for the weekend.

Emarine Australia's Jed Elderkin, who represents the Sabre brand throughout Australasia, has made the journey from Sydney to attend the celebration.

'The dedication with which Sabre builds each and every vessel is evident in the passion of Sabre yacht owners the world over,' Mr Elderkin said.

'Annual owner reunions have always allowed Sabre to keep in touch with existing and prospective clients' needs, which has enabled the company to continually refine each product.

'Although the core objective of this weekend is to celebrate a company milestone, I can guarantee Sabre's accomplished designers and master craftspeople will be subliminally gathering as much feedback as possible to ensure the marque remains abreast of the market.'

Widely recognised by knowledgeable boaters as one of the finest boatbuilders in the world, Sabre Yachts has been crafting sail and motoryachts since 1970 and has built over 2500 hulls to date.

Sabre Yachts currently builds three sailboats ranging 38' to 45' in length and six powerboats from 36' to 52' in length. These magnificent vessels are sold worldwide through a network of competent, professional dealers that have been chosen for their reputation, location and visibility within local markets and for the quality of their personal sales service.

Emarine Australia is located at Sydney's picturesque Roseville Bridge Marina, phone (02) 9417 8671 or visit www.emarine.com.au to discover more about the Sabre fleet.
